“Top 5 Lattes to Make to Get in the Christmas Spirit”
November started with me stubbornly holding onto fall, vowing not to decorate for Christmas or indulge in winter wonderland lattes until after Thanksgiving. I was planning on saving everything for December, as November feels very much like fall to me. However, the Christmas spirit got to me sooner than expected and now I’m already planning my very own winter wonderland latte menu.
Today, I’m sharing my Christmas Spirit Coffee Bucket List—perfect for those ready to turn their kitchens into cozy cafes. Add these lattes to your list for a truly festive experience!
1. Peppermint Bark Latte
I couldn’t resist kicking off the season with a Peppermint Bark Latte—and it was worth it! I had forgotten how much I love peppermint-flavored coffee until this magical coffee reminded me.
How to Make It:
• Use Torani peppermint syrup and brew your latte using an espresso machine (I have a Mr.Coffee expresso machine that I love ).
• Once ready, top your latte with pieces of peppermint bark. It’s the finishing touch that makes all the difference and adds a touch of Christmas magic !
(Tip: You can find peppermint bark at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx this time of year.)
2. Gingerbread Latte
This is next on my list! I plan to make my own gingerbread syrup for an authentic, homemade flavor. I haven’t tried this yet, but I can already tell it will be a holiday favorite.
Why It’s Festive:
The warm spices of gingerbread evoke cozy memories, perfect for sipping by the fire or curling up with a cozy blanket and a good book. It also gives Hallmark bakery vibes and who can resist that?
3. Eggnog Latte
Inspired by Starbucks’ iconic version, I’m bringing back the Eggnog Latte this year. It’s a classic that never fails to make me feel like I’m in a holiday movie.
Pro Tip:
Use store-bought eggnog or make your own for a richer, creamier latte.
4. Hazelnut Latte
While not traditionally a Christmas flavor, there’s something about hazelnut that screams cozy winter days, curled up with a good book. Its nutty, toasty notes fit perfectly into the holiday season.
Enhancement Idea:
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg to give it a festive twist!
5. Caramel Brûlée Latte
Saving the best for last! The rich, buttery sweetness of caramel brûlée is pure indulgence—just writing about it makes my mouth water.
Serving Suggestion:
Top with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle for an extra festive treat.
Let’s Share the Cheer!
